Hubby painted my laundry room....the first time EVER it has been painted...and we painted it white....just looks cleaner, plus it is tiny, so a color would make you feel squooshed and trapped, and he probably already felt that way when he was doing the laundry....yes, that's right. Hubby does the laundry EVERYDAY for me. He has for....oh, about 10 years now. At first, I tried to get him to do it my way....sorting colors and whites, using hot and cold....you know, the traditional way of doing laundry. After years of fussing, I gave up and he does them the way he wants to. It's okay, too. I see now, you don't HAVE to sort the laundry. ANYHOOO.....we bought some cute little baskets to put the detergent and STUFF in, and we got an extra picture and hung up our yardstick and mop.....for the first time in years and years, it doesn't harbor all Hubby's hunting gear. Here are some pics....remember, it's just a humble tiny laundry room.....

We keep the vacuum cleaner in here, too, and that is what the green handle is under Hubby's hat.
He has kept his hats out of the laundry room since we painted, but tonight, he left that one hanging
on the detergent bottle, so I moved it to the flower hanger.....just a reminder to him when he goes to
put it on tomorrow....maybe someday, we'll have one of the new-fangled washers and dryers.

My hubby does laundry too. Not all the time but most of it. Nice room. Wish mine looked that good.
I never did trust Jim with the laundry for some reason. LOL I think if I had it to do over again I might. Jim did a lot of the cooking though and that made up for lots of things. I sure do miss him.
Boo Hoo, I haven't had a washer nor a drier since 1997! We go uptown once a week or every 10 days. At least I can hang them out in the summertime. Still..I would never give up living here. Just different strokes for different folks, eh?
